On April 5th, 2018 the world lost another brilliant artists. Isao Takahata (82), passed away after losing his battle with lung cancer. The co-creator of beloved and award winning animation studio Studio Ghibli created several wonderful animated films. He is best known for his stories that center around individuals that come from all aspects of life. Some of his most memorable works are Grave of the Fireflies, Only Yesterday, and My Neighbors the Yamadas.  Perhaps his most notable piece is The Tale of Princess Kaguya, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2013.  We will never forget the amazing artwork he created and the wonderful places he was able to take us with his stories. He will be missed.
